07 DAYS RUSSIA TOUR : MOSCOW - SOCHI

DAY 01 HOME – MOSCOW

Welcome to Moscow! Our guide will meet you upon your arrival to Moscow and will transfer you to the hotel. You may enjoy your free time for the rest of the day. Alternatively, you can choose one of our suggested Optional Tours: Overnight in Moscow.

DAY 2 MOSCOW

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up at the lobby to take you on a wonderful journey exploring the main highlights of the city. Our city tour will take you through Red Square, Alexander Garden, The Bolshoi theatre, Christ the Savior Cathedral, Novodevichy Convent, Sparrow Hills observation deck, Moscow State University, Poklonnaya Hill + Victory Park, Stalin skyscrapers, main streets and squares. Then you will have the walking tour to the heart of Russia: Red Square and Moscow Kremlin to explore the gems hidden behind the Kremlin walls such as the Cathedral Square and the Assumption and Annunciation cathedrals. Lying directly to the east of the Kremlin, Red Square is surrounded by some of the country’s most distinctive and important landmarks such as St. Basil’s, the Mausoleum, State Historical Museum and the famous chime-tower, the Spasskaya tower. Over the centuries, Red Square had a function of the central marketplace as well as the meeting place for the Muscovites and city-guests. Nowadays Red Square is a place for such events as parades, concerts, Christmas fares, etc. The excursion ends at GUM, the main department store in Russia located on the Red Square. The trapezoidal building features a combination of elements of Russian medieval architecture and a steel framework and glass roof. You will also have some free time and we suggest that you try the famous ice cream, made by Soviet recipe, and traditionally sold in GUM. Return to the hotel. You may enjoy your free time for the rest of the day. Overnight in Moscow.

DAY 3 MOSCOW

Just like the day before your guide will pick you up after breakfast at the lobby of your hotel. You will start with the metro tour: a wonderful cascade of underground palaces, decorated with mosaics and sculptures, made by the greatest artists of all time. Semiprecious stones generously scattered on the surfaces of walls, paleontological curiosities and other unusual pieces turn the Moscow metro stations into the living objects of art. Make sure you have a lot of free space for photos on your devices! After the metro tour, you will visit the magnificent Tretyakov Gallery. The Tretyakov Gallery today is one of the main national treasuries of arts, sculptures and graphics. Of course, you won’t be able to explore it all within a day but you will surely see the most notable masterpieces of the museum collection. Our day continues with our guided walk down the main pedestrian street of Moscow: The Old Arbat. Every single building here can tell its own wonderful story. Our guide will talk about the most outstanding people who used to live here - their remarkable legacy and cultural contribution. Return to the hotel by metro or enjoy your free time in the city centre for the rest of the day. Alternatively, you can choose to go on the following Optional Tour (not included): Radisson Royal boat cruise: On the cruise passengers will enjoy the most remarkable sights of Moscow: the Kremlin, Novodevichy Convent, the monument of Peter I, St. Basil's Cathedral, University and other symbolic monuments. Moreover, you will be offered high-quality catering service with delicious food prepared straight on board. Available all year round. Departs from the pier «UKRAINA» Hotel» at 8 p. m. DAY 4 MOSCOW – SOCHI (by flight)

After breakfast, you will need to check out of the hotel. The driver will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and will take you to the airport of departure. Flight to Sochi (Adler airport) which will take 2.5 hours. Welcome to Sochi! Our guide holding the sign with your name will meet you in the arrival hall and will accompany you for the whole trip and revealing you the most exciting stories of the area along the journey. Tour starts with an acquaintance of the Olympic Park Area to emphasize the XXII Winter Olympic Games legacy. Guests will see the stadiums, including FIFA World Cup 2018 stadium, the Olympic torch, Museum of Formula1. Our guide will tell about the construction of the venues and the Olympic games of 2014. Explore one on the most beautiful cities of Russia, visit the main attractions: Riviera Park, the Sycamore alley, St. Michael the Archangel Cathedral, amazing architectural ensemble of the Sea Port and “Zimniy” theatre. Take a walk down the seaside boulevard, cross the magnificent Art Square and have a promenade along the seafront filled with local souvenir shops. The tour will provide you with loads of impressions and great opportunities to expand your photo album. After the city tour, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Sochi.

DAY 5 SOCHI

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up at the lobby to take you to the place often named as Russian Switzerland. The route leads away from the coastline heading up to the mountains via the new Olympic motor road. The road to Krasnaya Polyana opens up the beauty of wild nature and impressive scale of construction works in the area so it can easily be perceived as a part of sightseeing. Krasnaya Polyana resort has modern ski slopes, there are 3 ski resorts that will be visited during the tour: Krasnaya Polyana (ex Gorki Gorod), Gazprom and Rosa Khutor. “Rosa Khutor” is the kind of resort that strikes you by it’s chiс, so typical for any top-class ski resort in Europe. The guests get a cable car journey up to the top observation platform where they can enjoy the breathtakingly gorgeous mountain view. The landscape is so gorgeous, that it doesn’t even feel real. But nonetheless, fresh air and a bunch of strong impressions will make you feel fierce hungry. We continue to one of the most remarkable gastro-venues of the area - the local Georgian restaurant Caucasian Aul. Georgian cuisines are worldwide famous for exclusive ingredients, for being healthy and, of course, extremely tasty. Georgian wines are the country's trademark. There you will have a great chance of tasting the best ones the winery offers. After lunch (included), you will be able to admire panoramic views during the visit of the Sky Park including a trip of the world's longest suspended pedestrian bridge Skybridge. After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel. You may take some rest in the hotel and explore the city on your own. Overnight in Sochi.

DAY 6 SOCHI

After the breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up at the lobby to take you to Stalin’s Dacha: summer residence of Stalin built for him in 1937. It is situated on a hill 50 meters above sea level, with scenic views of the Greater Caucasus mountain range and surrounded by a forest. Then you will visit the tea factory "Matsesta-chai" including tastings of the world's best varieties of black and green tea. You will be acquainted with all the steps of the tea-growing process: from planting till tea leaves processing. You will admire the breathtaking views of the area: curvy rows of tea bushes, planted in a valley surrounded by mountains. You will be invited to taste various kinds of tea grown here and honey, produced at local bee gardens. We will take you through a dairy processing farm, where you will see how various kinds of cheese are made, you will not only see the production process but also try the outcomes and find out how they taste like. Then we will continue to the goat farm and the stables continuing your acquaintance with the region and its specialities. You will take wonderful photos and find many interesting facts about the animals; this is going to be a relaxing and enjoyable activity. Our next point of interest is the Ekzarkho Eco Farm. On the territory of the complex, you will find everything you need to enjoy unity with nature, communication with animals, admiring the beautiful views and organic products. Eco farm Ekzarho has won a number of prestigious awards, as an object of ecological tourism of the Krasnodar region. Here you will have a chance to touch and feed the baby goats, meet and ride beautiful farm horses, to have a tasting of cheese and jam made of the farm products and to experience perfect serene atmosphere of the farm. In the evening, you will have our guided transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Sochi.

DAY 7 SOCHI – HOME

Enjoy your free time after breakfast at your hotel. At noon you should check out of the hotel. You can leave your luggage at the hotel and continue exploring the city. The driver will pick you up at the reception at the appointed time and will take you to the airport of Sochi (Adler). Our services end here…
