06 DAYS BALTIC CAPITALS TOUR : VILNIUS – RIGA – TALINN

DAY 1 HOME – VILNIUS

Welcome to Vilnius. Meet our representative at the airport and you will be transferred to hotel. Day free at leisure to explore the beauties of the city on your own. Overnight in Vilnius.

DAY 2 VILNIUS

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy full day dedicated to the free discovery of the Lithuanian’s capital which has more than 1500 medieval buildings and 48 churches (optional private walking guided tour). During the visit we suggest you to discover the following spots: the neoclassical Cathedral from the XVIII century, the Gediminas castle, the Gothic St. Anna Church, the University from the XVI century and the Town Hall Square. For the afternoon, we suggest an excursion to Trakai and a visit of the castle. Trakai is located some 30 km from Vilnius and this city is known for the gothic-medieval Castle built by the Grand Duke Gediminas in 1321 on a small island of the Galve Lake. Overnight in Vilnius.

DAY 3 VILNIUS – RIGA

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning trip by bus to Riga (4 hours) and arrival to Riga. Check-in at the hotel. Afternoon dedicated to the discovery of Riga (optional private walking guided tour). During the visit we suggest you to discover the following spots: the Art Nouveau district (included in the UNESCO’s architectural heritage), the Latvian National Opera House, the Freedom Monument, the typical medieval buildings, the Castle of the 1330 which was built as seat of the Livonian Order, the Cathedral and St. Peter’s Church. Overnight in Riga.

DAY 4 RIGA – TALINN

Breakfast at hotel. Morning to be used to the continuation of the visit. In the afternoon trip by bus to Tallinn (4 hours) and arrival to Tallinn. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Talinn.

DAY 5 TALINN

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy full day dedicated to the discovery of Tallinn (optional private walking guided tour). The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. During the visit we suggest you to discover the following spots: the old medieval city walls, Toompea, the Dome Church , Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the medieval Old Town Hall. For the afternoon, we suggest you discover the suburbs of Tallinn like: the district of Lasnamäe built during the soviet time, the green area of Pirita and the scenic road along the Tallinn bay, the Song Festival Ground, a huge amphitheatre which is one of the symbol of the Estonian Singing Revolution, the summer residential area of the Tzars called Kadriorg (the park and the Palace) and the estonian ethnographic open air museum in Rocca al Mare. Overnight in Talinn.

DAY 6 TALLIN – DEPARTURE

Breakfast at hotel. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Our services end here…
